After finding the 400-page PDF manual for Manga Studio, I don’t feel so bad about not being able to figure it out on my own.  Going to be a bit before I get comfortable enough to play around with color, though.

Somewhat based on a true story, or at least how trying to get Manga Studio to do what I want feels. No, sorry, not accurate – the ‘Build Your Own Eldrich Horror’ kit seems to have come with better instructions.

Just got Manga Studio – fun to play around with, but it’s going to take a bit to get the hang of it. Particularly the whole exporting images bit.  Hopefully I’ll figure out a way to get a better-quality copy of this uploaded later in the week.

EDIT: Ha, okay, turns out the trick is to save in greyscale, so the screentones get scaled down properly rather than staying the same size when you scale down the rest of the image. The accidental plaid hair isn’t actually a tone…no idea what happened there.

Feeling crappy enough that I ACTUALLY CALLED IN SICK TO WORK.  At the moment, my choices are fine motor skills or being able to breathe – I’ve chosen the latter for now, and will finish inking and coloring when I can get a little more of the former back.

Somehow, it took me something like 7 hours to get a package mailed today.  The Commission of Misfortune is complete, and we shall never speak of it again.
